Overnight on business & googled burger joint - menu looked good so off I went. Got a delicious local brew (great selection!) while waiting for a Burger Poutine to go (wish I got the Bartenders name - she deserves a raise!). Loved the vibe of the place, staff were awesome - if I was local I'd go all the time.
Then I got back to the hotel and dug into the burger. There wasn't a thing I didn't LOVE about it. This is no small praise - my family will tell you just how picky I am (I say discriminating...they say impossible). My brother ways says if I hate a place he might give it a chance anyway, but if I love a place it HAS to be good. This place is more than good. The burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Juicy, not overly salted and just about the best I've ever had. The poutine was perfect on a burger - rich gravy and silky cheese curds. And I ate every last bit of it - even the roll ( which I usullay never bother with), which thank God someone found a roll that stands up to a juicy burger.
Until tonight I thought Charm City Burger in Deerfield Beach was the best I ever had. Sorry Charm City....I found a new love :)
If you're in Batavia don't miss this place! Michael Symon needs to feature it on Burgers, Brew and Que.
